NEW VIDEO: John Adams on Virginia’s Heroin and Opioid Epidemic

RICHMOND – John Adams, Republican nominee for attorney general, today released a new web video in which he discusses Virginia’s heroin and opioid epidemic.

Speaking about the issue, Adams said, “The heroin and opioid epidemic in Virginia is very real, with fatal opioid overdoses increasing 66 percent since Mark Herring took office. While traveling the state, I hear from concerned parents, law enforcement officials, community leaders, and citizens about the growing crisis and the need for immediate action. In the next few weeks, we will roll out a comprehensive plan to address this issue. As attorney general, I will not just talk about the heroin and opioid crisis, but will work with local leaders to put in place measures to tackle it head on.”
