I have some very exciting news to share with you: Senator Siobhan Dunnavant has endorsed my campaign for Attorney General! This comes on the heels of last week’s endorsement
from one of Virginia’s leading conservative voices, Rick Boyer. Senator Dunnavant stated, “Virginia needs a new lawyer and John is clearly the most qualified candidate in the race for the Republican nomination to challenge Mark Herring
I am humbled to receive Senator Dunnavant’s endorsement
and am excited to see the growing coalition of Republicans from across Virginia who are signing up to support our campaign.
Senator Dunnavant stated:
“As a doctor, I am trained to diagnose a problem and prescribe a solution. The problem in Virginia is we have an Attorney General who routinely ignores the Constitution, laws passed by the General Assembly, and the will of the people of Virginia, in order to advance a political agenda. The solution is to elect an Attorney General with outstanding legal qualifications and management experience, combined with a life long commitment to our Constitution, the rule of law, and public service. John Adams is that candidate.”
Senator Dunnavant, elected in 2015, is a highly recognized OBGYN who has worked to create and promote free market solutions in the healthcare industry. As a small business owner, Siobhan understands the challenges facing job creators across Virginia and has been a champion of fiscally conservative policies that allow hard-working Virginians to keep more of what they earn. In addition to delivering over 2,000 babies, Senator Dunnavant is a pro-life advocate and serves on the board of The Little Sisters of the Poor in Henrico.
She continued by stating:
“It’s also refreshing to have someone who has never run for office and brings real experience to the job and a fresh perspective. Like me when I chose to run for Senate last year after a career in medicine, John has taken a look at what is at stake for Virginia in this next election and answered the call to run for office, after serving as a Naval Officer and enjoying a distinguished legal career.”
Make no mistake about it, our campaign is gaining momentum. I’m continuing to travel the Commonwealth, meeting with conservatives from Southwest Virginia to Alexandria to Virginia Beach and everywhere in between. Mark Herring must be stopped, and I’m confident that my background and experience as a constitutional lawyer will contrast with his record as a career politician when voters go to the polls to vote next November.
